Hordeum vulgare
Barley grass powder is produced from the growing shoots of young barley grass, is highly nutritious and only has trace levels of sugar. It is very high in minerals including calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium, and in trace minerals including zinc and selenium. It also contains all the B vitamins, and at least 20 amino acids. Barley grass is selected by animals for:
